A small Chinese shop from the 1980s. It looked almost out of place inside the facility, yet it served an important purpose. Familiar objects and settings could help residents reconnect with earlier memories.

“baby corner,” filled with dolls, toy strollers, and small beds. Some residents enjoyed holding or caring for the dolls — bringing comfort and emotional calm.
